—Polyester, "The Brothers from Heaven" | ||
Polyester (ポリエステル Poriesuteru) is an angel, the older twin brother of Polyurethane,[4] and a younger cousin of Panty and Stocking who acted as a supporting antagonist of New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT and made his debut in "The Brothers from Heaven".
When using his own or his brother's golden thong, he can transform them into his weapon of choice, an unnamed gun gauntlet.
Appearance
Polyester has pale skin, red eyes, and gradient purple-blue hair styled in a bowlcut with bangs covering his left eye. His accessories include a black choker and a black charm that resembles the kanji for "Heaven" (天). He wears a sleeveless, V-neckline white spandex bodysuit along with white gloves. His bulge is also visible.
In the PASWG x The Chara 2026 Pop Up wave of official merchandise, it is shown that he has pierced ears, but doesn't wear earrings often.
Angel form
In his angel transformation similarly to his younger brother, he is shown to be shirtless and noticeably well-built with a muscular frame, and his wings are noticeably smoother than his brother's.
He wears a tight black cap with a gold emblem, similar to a police-style hat. He wears black gloves and flared black pants that are fully unzipped along with a black choker that resembled a shirt collar with a gold chain which adds to the deliberately provocative style. The style of his bangs are also mirrored.
Personality
Polyester has a very high ego due to the amount of new-age technology he uses. He also commonly uses Generation Z slang and AAVE, such as "on God" and "ick". Whenever things don't go his way, he becomes very dramatic, even to the point of threatening suicide[5]. However, in "Heaven Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Bitch", when Ramie allowed the two brothers to call him their father for the first time, Polyester was briefly overjoyed while Polyurethane was sent into an excited, bloodthirsty rage; this implies that Polyester is the more level-headed twin of the duo, unlike Panty and Scanty, who are more impulsive.
Polyester and his brother have a strict "No Work on Weekends" policy and won't so much as lift a finger to help humans being attacked by violent and malicious ghosts, though as soon as the weekends end, they both immediately resume their angelic work, showcasing a sense of professionalism.
The twins are also shown to be hypocritical in the sense that they ridicule their older cousins for cheating using gadgets to subdue ghosts whilst doing the same themselves, as well as reprimanding Garterbelt for having bought sex toys as offerings to their father, Ramie (after the latter had assumed the throne), for daring to bring such filth to a holy place all whilst having their own angelic transformation sequence feature them in a provocative manner.

"The older brother of the angel brothers newly sent from Heaven to Daten City."
Biography
Polyester and his twin brother, Polyurethane, are self-proclaimed "Newgen Angels" who work under their father Ramie, whom they usually refer to as Your Highness. In "The Brothers from Heaven", they were sent from Heaven to replace Panty and Stocking, their older cousins, as the Ghost hunters of Daten City. Despite their high-level technology, they weren't able to defeat as much Ghosts as Panty, Stocking, Scanty, and Kneesocks, and were reprimanded by Ramie for their spending habits. In Heaven, though, Ramie accepted their apology and allowed them to continue their agenda against the Anarchy sisters. For the rest of the second season, Polyester and Polyurethane continued their attempts to one-up their cousins by killing Ghosts or trying to find their weaknesses.
In "Heaven Wars Episode 1 - The Family Menace", during the church residents' visit to Heaven, Polyester and Polyurethane allowed the Anarchy sisters to enter the palace, though with clear malice. Their true intentions were revealed when Ramie tricked Linière into abdicating the throne to him. After he and his wife Silk were frozen, Polyester (along with Ramie and Polyurethane) strummed their electric guitars and killed them both. They then murdered all of Heaven's gods in order to construct Ramie's ultimate weapon with which he planned to spark a war against Hell in "Heaven Wars Episode 2 - Attack of the Uncle".
After Garterbelt and the Daemon sisters made their way back up to Heaven in "Heaven Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Bitch", Polyester and Polyurethane fended off against the Daemon sisters to prevent them from thwarting Ramie's plan. The brothers shot the frozen Panty and Stocking after they poked Ramie, but this only caused the Anarchy sisters to be birthed anew. Polyester and Polyurethane utilized their car, Double Low-Riser, as battle armor for the transformed Ramie, but they were no match for the protagonists, who all managed to use their Armed Fuck Gun to shoot Ramie's weapon before it could annihilate Hell and Earth. Polyester, along with his brother and father, were all forgiven by Linière, who believed that Ramie just needed to spend time with his sons.

- In the same episode, it is revealed that the Poly Brothers' garments are interchangeable, meaning Polyester doesn't necessarily have to use Polyurethane's underwear as his weapon and vice versa, as Polyurethane was able to turn his own underwear into his bladed boot during the scene where he gets rid of the elevator sound alarm.

- When asked what whether they thought that the Poly Brothers actually saw the boys' hang-out in "Independence Dick" as a genuine friendship, Enoki feels that it was all just an act, but Uemura comments how "at the time, [Polyurethane] might have felt like a "this is it" moment but never really thought about it much after".
