The demons, Scanty, Corset, and Kneesocks
Demons are supernatural creatures who serve the King of Hell and live in Hell and wreak havoc on Daten City by creating and teaming up with ghosts. Demons are the "evil" counterpart to Heaven's angels.
Description
In contrast to the standard depiction of demons as agents of disorder, the demons are instead obsessed with order and strict rules. This is by no means a good thing, though, since their way of imposing order can easily be likened to a dictatorship (for instance, when Scanty and Kneesocks take over the school, they impose standardized uniforms that look somewhat military).
In this way, they contrast angels who, though they cause disorder, are affiliated with freedom. Demons outwardly despise unnecessary chaos and destruction, but in reality they will stop at nothing to advance their goals. All known demons have also been shown to be cruel and sadistic.
One of the demons' goals was to take over Earth and Heaven, and impose their rules on them. However, their last attempt to perform this resulted in a failure.
Due to the events of the season one finale, as of the second season, Scanty and Kneesocks are forced to kill ghosts in order to earn enough Hell Coins to return to Hell.
Culture
Not much is currently known about Hell's culture, except that, similar to Heaven, they also serve under a king - the King of Hell, who is also the father to the Daemon Sisters, Scanty and Kneesocks.
However, it is worth noting that the King of Hell has apparently been asleep for quite some time, as revealed in "Heaven Wars Episode 2 - Attack of the Uncle" - the reason and duration for this is not specified, but he was seemingly able to notify Garterbelt of his daughters' new mission of sending ghosts back to Hell during the post-credits scene of "Panty and Stocking: Homecoming".
The King of Hell is later awakened from his slumber at the end of "Heaven Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Bitch", during the church crew's family trip to Lingerie Land, as his hand emerges from the depths of Hell, grabbing Panty and Brief down with him.
Demons are also apparently the masters of ghosts, though the benefit they draw from unleashing such chaotic creatures upon innocents is not entirely clear.
It can be theorized that ghosts may serve the purpose of luring out and attempting to destroy angels. Demons are able to mass-produce weak artificial ghosts using a Ghoststone. They can also enhance the power of weak ghosts.
Demons, like angels, are shown to have technology that is much more advanced than that of humans, which can be purchased using their universal currency of Hell Coins.
It is revealed by Scanty in "Six Hundred Sixty Six Candles" that it is of great importance whenever demons reach any age ending in "6", this is a reference to "666" being the devil's number.
Biology
Demons generally appear as having red skin, having sharp horn(s), and protruding fangs - while the King of Hell, similar to the gods of the royal family up in Heaven, is shown to have a live-action greenscreen of a person's limb; though, in Corset's case, little to nothing is known about his subspecies of demon as he is the only one shown with his trait of having blueish skin with no visible horns.
As for the case of the Zipper species, there is a subspecies of demons that seem to have a symbiotic relationship with the zipper species, as showcased by Agent Man and Agent Woman who live in the brains of Chuck and Fastener respectively.
Scanty's greentestines spilling out
In "Heaven Wars Episode 2 - Attack of the Uncle", it is revealed that there are skeleton demons that work as low-ranking guards at Hell's Borders. It is unknown how much of their entire being comprises of just a skeleton, but they are shown to have the same red devil-like tails that the demon sisters have when transformed.
In "Six Hundred Sixty Six Candles", it is revealed that being 666 years old in demon years is the equivalent of being 16 years old in human years, showcasing the gradual physical aging process of demons, as opposed to their chronological ages.
It is also shown in "Bitch Girls: 2 Bitch" and "Rolling Sisters" that both demons and angels have green intestines.
Mortality
Demons can only be harmed by either their own weapons or angelic weapons, they are also shown to be more durable than those of mere humans. Despite this, they can still be killed if sustaining enough lethal injuries.
Reproduction
Not much is known about the reproduction of demons, but it is shown that because the Daemon Sisters were born from their father and mother, that demons reproduce similarly to those of angels as well as other earthly mammals.
Abilities
Like angels, demons are able to transform their undergarments into weapons which can harm angels and ghosts. They can also transform into their demonic forms, gaining bat wings and devil tails.
Demonic weapons are similar to angelic weapons in the sense that they can not harm humans, but can be used to defeat ghosts. Interestingly enough, as shown in "The Brothers from Heaven", demonic weapons can also benefit from enhancements provided by angelic technology, as courtesy of Gunsmith Bitch.
In one of the chapters of the Manga Strip, it is revealed that angels can also use their powers to transform the garments of demons into weapons, but instead, said weapons take on the usual color scheme of demonic weapons. It should be noted, however, that the canon nature of this manga is made unclear.
In "Panty + Brief", the Daemon Sisters showcased the ability to move as shadows, though this has only ever been done so once in the aforementioned episode.
Corset manipulating Stocking into thinking she is a demon
In "Panty and Stocking: Homecoming", it is revealed that demons are able to psychologically manipulate others, or, at least, angels, into becoming part-ghosts - as shown by Corset who temporarily turned Stocking into an angel-ghost mutant.
They are also shown to be able to spread bad luck, as shown in "The Stripping" when the Daemon Sisters' bad luck cancelled out the good luck of the Anarchy Sisters.
Though, only showcased by the King of Hell so far, he is shown to have the similar ability as Heaven's gods as to be able to sizeshift his live action limb(s) while ascending from Hell onto Earth.

Trivia
- In the Neverending Streaming featuring the three-part Heaven Wars arc, it is revealed by the writers that there is an unspecified reason why the Daemon Sisters and Fastener's eyes started glowing red when the King of Hell grabbed Panty and Brief down with him.
- Despite the supernatural not exactly being kept a secret to human society, the Anarchy and Daemon Sisters are still required to enroll in a human high school to "blend in".
